Dear Friends

Will you please post and help me forward this message to all your other groups so that it gets circulated, thanks. Soon the season of fruits like mango, durians, rambutans, langsat (lansones), duku, mangosteen, jack fruit, etc will be here. My request to all of us is to NOT throw the seeds in your rubbish bin, but INSTEAD to wash them, dry them (in the sun) and pack it in newspaper and keep it in your car. Whenever you go out and find an open baren land while travelling, be it on a village road, on an empty motorway, throw these seeds. They will germinate easily in the the coming monsoon. If with this simple act, we can contribute even a single tree each season to our world, our mission of greening this world would be successful. The Thai government has been promoting this to all its citizen over the last few years. Many of their other districts officers have been driving this campaign aggressively which has been very successful. The number of fruit trees in the wild have multiplied many times over particularly in the Northern districts of Thailand. Let’s us also join the Thais in this brilliant initiative to spread abundance in nature and in this simple yet effective way and contribute back to our next generations. Please forward to all groups...

 14 Sa dihang na hurot na niya og gasto ang tanan nga anaa kaniya, ang nasud nga iyang giadtoan naka sinati og grabe nga kawad-on, didto nag sugod ang iyang kalisod ;

18 Akong biyaan kining lugara ug mobalik ako sa akong amahan ug ingnon ko siya: Amahan nakasala ako batok sa langit ug batok kanimo;

28 Nasuko kayo ang kamagulangan og wala kini moapil ngadto sa selebrasyon, apan gitawag siya sa iyang amahan;

Kitang tanan gihagit niini.

ILIGAN CITY – The Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) has hosted the First Mindanao launching of Kilusang Pagbabago or movement for change at its gym where about 5,000 delegates all over Northern Mindanao participated.

Sukarno Tanggol, MSU-IIT chancellor has lauded the initiative from the office of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and grateful for making its school one of the instruments for the success of the first Mindanao launching of the movement for change.

“It is an honor for the Mindanao State University –Iligan Institute of Technology for making the school as the venue of the first Mindanao Launching of Movement for Change and I warmly welcome you all” Chancellor Tanggol stressed.

Cabinet Secretary Leoncio “Jun” B. Evasco Jr., who was the keynote speaker of the launching revealed that corruption is the brain of all Philippine Problem.

Secretary Evasco strongly brought the message that the current government of President Rodrigo Duterte is consistently pursuing its campaign against corruption, illegal drugs and criminalities, saying that these problems would not be automatically eradicated within 100 days in government.

“Corruption in the government is deepened which become normal and a culture of Filipino people saying that if you are working in government it is normal for them to be a corrupt”, Sec. Evasco lamented.

He admitted that the government has no capacity to change itself because there are people even within are corrupt and also involved in drugs either police, judges, mayors, barangay captains, soldiers and many more.

About ninety two percent (92%) of the barangays in the country affected by illegal drugs”, He claimed.
He said President Duterte won via landslide votes of more than 16 million which highest of all previous presidents, and the information about drugs and corruption is coming from the people who are affected by poverty.

The police scalawags would not be known if the people having enough knowledge would not have a stake for this, so changes would be happened through the people’s participation and that is why Movement for Change is necessary, he admitted.

This movement is peoples participation for those who believed the campaign against corruption, illegal drugs and criminalities.

He reiterated the president’s criticism to the Commission on Human Rights, United Nations and European Union for interfering the affair of the Philippine Government.

He said, human right is at all times correct especially if you believe in God, but when there is a collapse of criminal justice system, human rights is unpopular.
Delegates all over Northern Mindanao joined the KP mass oath taking

He claimed that upon their roaming all over the country, people did not believe extra-judicial killing as alleged by critics, and that is why the president is steadfast on the campaign against corruption, illegal drugs and criminalities.

Secretary Evasco has led the mass oath taking of the delegates of being member of the Kilusang Pagbabago of Movement for Change. He revealed that this movement is under the spirit of volunteerism and stake.

" We do not issue identification card and accepting membership fees as proof of  being one of the movement to avoid additional burden, the proof of being one with the movement is your action with the movement", He explained.

 By Tito Natividad Fiel
Press Conference in MSU Board Room, Chancellor Sukarno Tanggol centerspeaks.

ILIGAN CITY – Mindanao State University –Iligan Institute of Technology Chancellor Sukarno Tanggol eyed Wednesday afternoon in a press conference in their board room that money making industry and drug trade may behind the kidnapping of six students on Saturday late night.

At this point in time there has no demand from the kidnappers, but ransom could be one reason and the other one is the drug trade happened in the surroundings and gradually entered inside the campus, Dr. Tanggol said.

“There is already drug trading in the surroundings of the MSU –IIT and it gradually enters the campus but cannot prosper inside because of the close security procedure in entering inside that hinders from flooding of  drugs in the campus”, Dr. Tanggol stressed.

MSU-IIT Security Chief Eduardito “Ditto” Maruhom revealed in a press conference that weeks ago, they arrested a young man entered the campus which taking meal in the canteen, unfortunately he left his bag unattended where got attention of the security and inspected where it recovered two rolls of marijuana and materials used for shabu session.

Both Chancellor Tanggol and Security Chief Maruhom confirmed that there were six young kidnapped by unidentified perpetrators which most of them students from MSU-IIT, two students remained captive while the four were released on Monday.

The two captive students by the alleged kidnappers identified as Berzon Paeste, 4th year of Bachelor of Arts major in History coming from Zamboanga del Sur and Cid rick Jamias 5th year of Bachelor of Science in Electronic from Tacurong City.

While the four released were identified as Juhary Gubat, 1st year General Education student; Hannah Yurong, Kevin Limpin and Eloisa Lacson, all dropout students but now hiding with the fear to their lives.

The university officials remained clueless of whom has abducted and held the remaining two students, but Chief Security Marohom appealed to the kidnappers that in the name of Peace and as the observance of Ramadan is ongoing, the two remained captive be released unconditionally.

These are the remained captives by the kidnappers which graduating students from MSU-IIT
“The parents of the two students could not afford even to pay right away their dormitory how much more to pay ransom which it is huge amount”, Mr. Marohom strongly appealed.

Despite of cluelessness about group responsible in doing the kidnapping, but Mr. Marohom appeal suggests that the kidnappers belonged to Muslim elements but not clear which group of them has done it.

Dr. Tanggol expressed disappointment in a press conference over the kidnapping incident, saying that it is the first time happened in the MSU-IIT where its students kidnapped, hoping the Presumptive Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte will do more to discourage criminals.

“We want the national government share to resolve this problem, law enforcement bodies like Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, Armed Forces of the Philippines must take it serious”, he strongly appealed.

He appreciates the efforts of the law enforcement agencies looking this problem but he appealed to do more and make more coordinative and extensive efforts to resolve it immediately.

MSU Security Chief Marohom also blamed the weak implementation of security matters in the city where some establishments of gas station vending not only gas but also liquors, cigarettes and no enough light and also no CCTV that will preempt criminals.

He hints to agree of having curfew hours to be implemented in the city to curve the criminalities.
He said in a press release shared in the press conference that the two remained captives were hanging out with the four released on Saturday night at the Caltex Gas Station in Tibanga, this city.

The group left the Caltex Gas Station premises in a white vehicle with plate number KGJ661 which allegedly driven by a certain as described cousin of Gubat.

The vehicle went through towards the Municipality of Linamon Lanao del Norte, the adjacent town of Ilgian City, but it got off at the gas station before Linamon to make a call, then continue their travel after the call, but upon reaching Linamon, a group of armed men stopped them.

The students were said to have been blindfolded and brought to an unknown, uphill and muddy area where they were separately interviewed about their parents’ jobs.

But Monday dawn, he revealed that  Gubat, Limpin, Yurong, and Lacson were released but all  are said to be in hiding for fear of their lives.

Maruhom claimed that the whereabouts and how to resolve it safely is already at hand but did not make more elaboration for security reasons.
